Board-certified orthopedic surgeon Dr. Greg Roberts provides care to the residents of Cookeville and Crossville, Tennessee, at Tier 1 Orthopedic and Neurosurgical Institute. He is dedicated to ensuring each patient has access to the highest quality of orthopedic care available.

 

Dr. Roberts is a native of the Upper Cumberland region, having grown up in Celina, Tennessee. He attended Vanderbilt University, where he majored in mechanical engineering. He then attended medical school at the University of Tennessee at Memphis and completed his orthopedic training at the prestigious Campbell Clinic. Dr. Roberts scored in the top 1% of all orthopedic surgeons when taking his board certification exam.

 

Dr. Roberts practices general orthopedic surgery with particular emphasis on joint replacement and sports medicine. He has a particular interest in state-of-the-art surgical techniques that provide quicker recovery and improved outcomes, such as direct anterior hip replacement, robotic guided partial and total knee replacement, and arthroscopic knee and shoulder surgery. He strives to use the latest technology to ensure the best possible outcome for his patients. Dr. Roberts maintains a certificate of added qualifications in sports medicine.

 

Dr. Roberts truly enjoys providing orthopedic services to the Upper Cumberland region. He enjoys knowing that patients of this area are also friends and neighbors, and he strives to treat each patient like a member of his family.

 

When not practicing medicine, Dr. Roberts enjoys spending time with his family and being active with his church. He enjoys numerous sports, such as hunting, fishing, and wake surfing. Having grown up on Dale Hollow Lake, he continues to enjoy spending time on the lake.
