Background:

Dr. Jonathon Srour is a double fellowship-trained podiatric foot and ankle surgeon. He is boardqualified/eligible by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery and is excited to bring his enthusiasm and expertise to allow patients to stay active and able to do the activities that they enjoy, while remaining pain-free.

Dr. Srour grew up in York, PA. He received his medical degree at the New York College of Podiatric Medicine where he won multiple awards including the Michael Stone Award for Outstanding Professional Conduct. He completed a residency in podiatric surgery at Medstar Washington Hospital Center / Georgetown University Hospital. He then completed a fellowship in Limb Preservation at UCSF Medical Center in San Francisco, one of the pre-eminent limb preservation centers in the world where he trained under vascular surgeon Dr. Michael Conte. Following this, his career took a unique path with a second fellowship in reconstruction and revision foot and ankle surgery in Richmond, VA under the mentorship of Dr. Laurence Rubin. As such, he is one of only a handful of double-fellowship trained foot and ankle surgeons in the country.

In addition to general podiatry, he will be providing specialized care for a variety of conditions affecting the foot and ankle including arthritis, tarsal tunnel syndrome, plantar fasciitis, neuropathic pain, soft tissue injuries, fractures, sports-related injuries, nail bed injuries, and more. In the case of complications due to diabetes, he is committed to a multi-specialty approach to limb salvage to allow patients to remain as functional as possible.

With a background as a competitive runner and a professional Irish dancer who toured the world with shows like Michael Flatley’s Lord of the Dance, Dr. Srour understands the challenges of remaining active while recovering from injuries of the foot and ankle. He is committed to each patient, regardless of their background and activity level.
